Our Story
The journey of Poochie Pampers began in 2016 when Charlie Powell, a devoted dog lover and former veterinary assistant, envisioned a different kind of grooming experience. With years of experience in animal care, Charlie noticed how traditional grooming could be stressful for dogs, often leading to anxiety and even injuries. Determined to make a positive change, she founded Poochie Pampers with the well-being of every dog at its heart.
Armed with her City & Guilds qualification in Dog Grooming, Charlie's vision was clear: to blend expert grooming with an abundance of love and care. What started as a small stall in Mold Indoor Market has blossomed into a flourishing business in the heart of Mold Town Centre. In 2024, Charlie took an exciting step forward by opening her new, spacious premises, which not only allows her to pamper more pooches but also introduces innovative features like her K9 Soft Play Area—the first of its kind in Flintshire!

Our Diffrence
At Poochie Pampers, we believe every dog deserves to feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely happy during their grooming session. Anxiety is harmful to a dog's health, which is why we've created a calming, enjoyable environment where every dog can thrive. Our resident canine companions, Ziggy and Odie—our charming Dachshund—are always on hand to welcome new pooches and help them feel right at home.
Whether your dog is a playful pup or a wise senior, we're here to offer the care and cwtch (Welsh for a warm, loving cuddle) they need to feel their best.
